This project is about a 130 square meters apartment renovation, located in a residential building constructed in Padova (Veneto,IT) around the '70s. The flat owned by a jung couple with two children, has been restyled to fit the client's desires without interfering with the overall plan layout. The intention was to give a more functional and modern shape to the apartment, cutting off its connection with the '70s. In order to reach the goal we decided to reorganise the functions layout and the flat color schema: a light maple wood has been used for the floor parquet which is in contrast with the dark colours of stoneware tiles used in the kitchen and the dark-brown wood used for the shower in the main bathroom. The plaster light color used for both ceiling and walls helps to brighten the apartment, which suffer of an insufficient natural illumination due to the its orientation.
